photo tips help please

alright i know i have a few inncredible photographers as friends here.im taking photo for college.i want to be the best i can be for it so any tips would help me so much.im using a 35mm manual,its got a 50mm lens.ive got control of the shutter and apature. its a v3800n camera if that helps too.please help ESPECIALY KARINA <3 if your reading this
